Highland Park 25yo in wooden box, who is the IB ?

Anybody recognizes this fancy Highland Park 25yo IB ?

We would be interested to know who is the 3rd party that bottled it ?

The smaller label pictured in the second image down on that thread (is it from the same bottle as the first image?) looks like a William Cadenhead one.

Ah, sorry forgot to mention.

The answer is yes, the smaller one is on the back. However it states 100cl, whereas the large label states 70cl, which is true.

From HP we got this answer to our requesty for information:

the bottle of 25yo is not one of our bottlings - it is a 3rd party bottling and therefore I cannot answer your question.

The labeling looks very fresh and the different volume statements on front and back do make it rather suspicious. It all looks a bit homemade.

We will not see the requested photo of the whole bottle.

The owner has opened it and was not disappointed (he got it as a present), it thinks it has some HP-characteristics.

He also found out that it was aquired from a German eBay-shop.

We now also found out that the person running that shop (now on the name of his wife) has been previously delivering falsifications.

An email with the question we send to Cadenhead has not yet gotten an answer. But I guess we know now.....

Yes Peat, no wonder nobody had any suggestions. I've read that particular German blog too. Thank God he didn't lose any money on this bottle.
