Talisker 10

Hoping someone can help steer in teh right direction. I absolutley love the spicey, smokiness of Talisker. What other whiskies come close? I know none would exceed :-)

I have tried Ardbeg, Caol Isla and Lagavulin (all of which I like), but really want to know if there are other whiskies like Talisker.

I would say Talisker is pretty unique. I bet you'd enjoy Clynelish 14, though.

There are whiskies out there that represent the spicey aspects and the peat aspects but I've not really found any that have both of these aspects. Maybe the closest I've found has been select bottlings of Ardmore.

Agreed. I personally find the profile of Ardmore TC to be quite close to that of Tali 10.

Have you tried other Talisker expressions?

Oh yeah, has anyone tried Bunnahabhain 12 alongside Tal 10?
