I found a couple of open 10 yos. I don't think that they are different bottling runs. Both have been open for awhile but opened at different times. I will try both to see if I note any differences.

Brandy Glass

Nose: glue, grist (doughy at the top of the glass), newly cut wood, citric
Palate: bread, under ripe oranges, cinnamon sticks-used
Finish: moderate, dried straw and muted spices

Aye, good call on the vanilla. It's becoming quite prominent as I drink more from the glass.

Moving along to the second bottle of Balblair 10. did I mention that it is 43%. Still the brandy glass.

Nose: while similar, the spices are more pronounced and there really isn't the glue. Also, it is doughy all through the glass.
Palate: Again, similar experience but more pronounced
Finish: longer, buttery vanilla, spicey

Yes, 19 yo. The G&M bottlings from the 90s were pretty good. I also like the 16 yo that's been discontinued.
