Pairing Whisky and Beer

How do you pair your beer and whisky?
I like a wheat with a Speyside.

With all Speysiders or do you have particular maturation or finishes that you think are better/worse?

I do like a Newcastle and Bass with Macallan.

Just to mention a few.

I enjoy a wide variety of Whiskys and usually drink them with a beer, so there is no intentional pairings, if that makes any sense. I like Red Stripe, Hieneken, Stella Artois, New Castle and Bass. The tastes of both compliment each other.
