Hello,
I have a bourbon/sherry remake hogshead cask I don't want to fool around with myself bottling etc. Does anyone know how I would offer this large an amount for private sale other than having the distillery buy it back? Any advice much appreciated.

you have 1 bourbon and 1 sherry cask?
If the cask is good, you might sell it to independent bottlers, but first check your contract. Some distilleries request that you offer to sale the cask back to them first before selling it to any third parties.
