I'm a proud owner of those two Bottles, but i'm on a dilem now. Which one is better? Which one is more valuable? I want to offer one of them to a dear friend, but i need an expert opinion please. Thank you for all your consideration.
The Jameson 15yo PPS is a classic bottling of the very rare Irish Pot Still Style (mash of malted & unmalted barley), often compared to the 2010 bottling of Redbreast 15. Increasingly hard to come by but still available you would have to part with €120 or more.
Thank you for your reply. I'm from portugal, and i have this bottle since 10 or 11 years ago. It's hard to find informations about it in the web. Here one bottle for 120€ it's a lot of money, and i've been delay your overture... untill now. And like i said, i wanna offer one of them to a good friend. Once again thank you
Interesting one. That Jameson 15yr Old Pure Pot Still is a bit of a collectors item. There is no Jameson Pure Pot Stilll available at the moment although they make Redbreast 15yr old which is in the same territory. You'd be surprised how even among whiskey enthusiasts, the Irish Pure Pot Stilll is relatively unknown. The Cutty Sark 25yr old Blend sounds great and looks great and would make a great present but I'd keep the Pure Pot Stilll for myself! What did you do in the end?
