I am in the process of purchasing a cask of Macallan 36. How much does this stuff go for per bottle? Thanks in advance.

Depending on the type of cask it could be something like this:

AGE OF WHISKY
36 Years Old

DISTILLERY PRICE
700ml £825
750ml £890
50ml £94

Prices taken from The Macallan website, to give you rough idea.

Wow, thats about 1700 bucks a bottle. The cask is a fortune, but I will be drinking this stuff until I die.
