Aged bottles of Vat 69, cutty sark, etc. But are they aged??

Postby bnegin » Fri Aug 27, 2004 2:18 am

I have in my collection some very old-looking bottles of scotch whiskys:
a bottle of vat 69 - sealed, green bottle. a bottle of cutty sark, 86 proof 4/5 quart, sealed green bottle. a bottle of courvoisier, vsop, cognac sealed green bottle. a bottle of white horse, numbered sealed bottle.
None of the bottles have years on them but they look like they are pretty old (maybe 40-50 years).
I am trying to determine the market value for these whiskys. If anyone could give me any leads or information on any of the above, I would be most grateful.
Thank you.

If you do some research on ebay you'll be able to see what people are paying for older blends. It may take you a few weeks or watching or you can do some searching under completed auctions.
