Hello,

Has anyone tasted the connemara 12 yrs and can he/she gives me a tasting note of it?

I don't think WM has tasted the 12 year old yet, but there are a couple here ... Connemara

Yes, it's pretty good. The 12 year old is too expensive, though.

There are now tasting notes for all the Connemaras in the tasting section of this site...

Only had the Connemara cask strength and i must say i was impressed by its strength. it had the same peat intensity as the islays but was more alcoholic and spirity.
Didnt had the 12Y old though, sorry.

I've only tried the 12yr old once at the tasting tower. Really nice stuff. At the time, I thought that it was almost worth the C$130 for the bottle.

yes, the 12 year old is very very good. I find it really straightforward and maybe a tiny bit thin, but it seems to work very well.

I have tasted an unpeated 13 year old whisky from this distillery at a tasting, and it's a must if it's released. I can't wait.
