I've seen an IB bottling (Hart Brothers) of 12yr old Longrow. I'm wondering if anyone can give me a review of longrow, and/or the IB (Hart Bros). I've heard Longrow is more peaty than Ardbeg 10yr. Is this so? The only other thing I know is that it's distilled by Springbank. Any feedback would be useful as there are only 4 bottles left at my local store and they're 20% off.

I've heard good things about Gordon & Mcphail, but I don't know the reputation of Hart Bros.

Also, there will be a limited run (again at my local store) on 21yr old Bushmills (OB) Madiera finish that I'm also thinking about, but I've never had it before, and am cautious about making a purchase with that kind of money.

Any help would be apprietiated!!!

If you are asking about Longrow, why have you got Longmorn in your title?

Hart Brothers are very inconsistent. I had a good 1990 12 yr Aultmore and a terrible 12 year old Macallan and 12 yr Macallan is usually my favourite.
