Yep, nice Rosebank although another from Lords Of Scotland was better. But on average the expressions from DT's Whisky Galore are good.

Thanks Erik,

I bought a bottle recently and might open it tonight. Not that it's a major decision or anything. Very good value, I thought.

I had a Whisky Galore Rosebank at Whisky Live in Glasgow and it was excellent.

I'll rummage around and see if I have any tasting notes.

Hi
I was in the shop on Saturday and was tempted to buy one . They had two different bottles ,one a sherry cask bottling which was a very nice colour. I was at Blair Atholl Distillery a couple of months ago and tried Rosebank for the first time , even the wife enjoyed it and shes no whisky fan.
I'm hoping to be back in a couple of weeks and I think I'll get a Whisky Galore then.
Off the thread a little here but I tried their "Auld Reekie" a 12yo Islay. Very nice. Never been a big Islay fan but my tastes are changing.
Cheers.

The Auld Reekie is great and there is a 12 year olf Glen Elgin from the same bottler which is also excellent.

The Auld Reekie, the 12Y old Glen Elgin, the 12Y old Macallan, The 12Y old Highland Park, the 12Y old Glenrothes etc etc from DT where great stuff to drink. Whisky Galore is quite good value for money.

Cheers,
