Belmont Bourbon

Postby zives412 » Fri Dec 21, 2012 3:46 am

Hey all, I recently came across a one gallon bottle of Belmont bourbon while clearing out an old house. I was wondering if anybody had any info on this bourbon in relation to value/history. From what I can tell, it was distilled in 1899 and bottled in 1917. There appears to be some loss as well. http://imgur.com/a/3JHzb Thanks for any guidance.

Hi,

If nobody has any idea on this one feel free to email our resident whisky valuations expert, Jonny McCormick - jonny@whiskymag.com - include the photo too.

Many thanks,

If I could put my 2 cents in. Donate it to the Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey in Bardstown and take the tax write off. That way thousands of people can enjoy it instead of just one.
