For me it changes depending on what I can buy on special. At the moment its Glendronach Octorine, before that it was Bunnahabhain 12 46.3% and Glenfarclas 15.. Do you see a trend towards sherried whiskies?...yum

I like a mixture. Glenlivet 12, Glenfiddich 12 and Glenmorangie 10 are fine daily drams.

I don't always have it on hand, but if I was to choose, it would be Talisker.

I think it really depends on the season.

In warmer weather I find lighter drams like anCnoc 12 very nice, in medium temps a slightly heavier Old Pulteney 12 is nice, in colder temps heavier sherry is nice, still up in the air between MacAllan 12, Aberlour 12, and young Glenfarclas ( I've only had the 10).

Favorite Bourbon Daily Dram: Eagle Rare 10 or Kinnickinnic Whiskey*

Favorite Scotch Daily Dram: Laphroaig 10

*Kinnickinnic Whiskey is a lively blend of 4 different American whiskies.

If I could afford to keep it stocked, I'd choose Littlemill Cote Rote. A smooth spectacular dram that blew the doors of the next whisky we tried - (a Glenmo).

P.S.: My second would be Longmorn 15 but I'm down to my last bottle of that and the new 16 just doesn't hold a candle to the older version.
