My own cask

I want to buy my own cask. Which destilleries have cask offers? So far I have only found one selling casks - Bruichladdich.

I think Tobermory is another.

Arran is selling casks and so is Tullibardine, the neat thing about the Arran is they will sell you a six year old whisky so you only have to wait 4 years until it's ready to be bottled at 10 years. I suppose you could just have it bottled now!

Springbank used to do it, but I'm not sure if they will repeat it again. Right now Highland Park is selling some casks, wich is unique because so far it's a one chance to buy only.

Does anyone have any approximate prices then? Or do I need to contact the distillery and see what they say about the matter?

For as far as I know, you should contact the head office in Perth or alternatively contact the distillery. I believe the HP team in Perth know the prices. For how long the cask offer goes I really don't know. At the big whisky fest last year in Leiden(Holland) we where registrating people who had an interest in buying a cask.
