Here are my notes of Longmorn 15 (45°, OB) that I made in 2003:
Nose: light, hint of peat and spirit, figues, green pepper; toffee as the snifter is warmed
Palate: smooth and oily, slowly developing from dry and salty to peppery-minty
Finish: lingering, mellow and spicy, anise gingerbread with apple marmalade
Overall impression: 8.25, very elegant and rather thin; wish it were a cask strength
