Bowmore Voyage

I have just bought four bottles of Bowmore Voyage at just under £45 a bottle. Have I got a good deal? I have heard good things about the whisky, but a port finish Bowmore does sound a bit odd. Has anyone out there tried it?

Good deal and very good whisky. I bought a bottle about a year ago for £36 (a very good deal at the time). I regeret not buying more. Works really well and is very different. Everwhere I see it, it is very expensive these days.

I haven't tried the Voyage, but I've tried the Bowmore Dawn, which is another port finish. I thought it was a great malt. Not a particularly appealing nose, but the palate was absolutely sensational.
