As usual at the Kilderkin, 65 Canongate, 7.30pm 21st May WEDNESDAY (not Thursday!) tickets are £40 for members or first timers otherwise £43.

Other news - the canal boat tasting in August leaving from Linlithgow at 7.30pm will be on a Thursday - date to be finalised: St Magdalene, Rosebank, Littlemill, Port Dundas and Glen Mhor - all closed distilleries that sat next to a canal. The inaugural Jolly Toper walking tour of Edinburgh distilleries will again be in August - date and price yet to be finalised.
