Campbeltown Loch Blend (again..)

All your whisky related questions answered here.

Sorry, never had the stuff. The LCBO sold a few bottles of the CL 21 a while back. I think Lord P got a bottle and (if I'm right) could fill you in on his impression. Other than this, I noticed some threads going back a while, that the main top dressing malts included Macallan and Tamdhu.

That's all I know about the blend. Sorry I couldn't be more help. I think Admiral tried the NAS version a while back.

Springbank/Cadenheads

Postby Mike Ralston » Tue Aug 23, 2005 8:15 am

It is my understanding that Springbank took over ownership of Cadenheads about 15-20 years ago. Cadenheads is run independently, but both companies share directors.

I do know that as a member of the Springbank Society, I get a 10% discount on buying a bottle of Springbank in any Cadenheads shop...

Just being a bit picky.

Springbank does not own Cadenheads. Springbank Distillery and Cadenheads both are owned by J&A Mitchell (who also ownes Glengyle Distillery and Eaglesomes Ltd)
