Tullibardine 1973

Hi there,

I just registered to see if anyone can tell me if the bottle Tullibardine 1973 is any good. Just bought this bottle and intend to leave the seal on for some years. Feel bad though that I've never tasted it. :cry:

Can anyone tell me what it tastes like? Was it a good buy (paid over EUR100)?

Given the age of the bottling, 100 Euros seems a fair price to me.

(Although you did say over 100 Euros :wink:

)

I've only tried the much younger 10yo Tullibardine, so I obviously can't help you with the 1973. However, it's my considered experience that most things that were created in 1973 turn out to be pretty good in life, so hopefully this whisky will follow suit. :wink:

Two observations:

1) Admiral was born in 1973, :wink:

and

Looking forward to tasting it soon. I was planning on saving it for a special occasion. I might just open it at any time soon, though... There are many suitable "special occasions" I can think of right now! :wink:
