george t stagg - filter?

I bought a bottle of George T Stagg a couple of months ago (just happy to find the stuff) and i noticed a small piece of what appears to be fuzz floating in the bottle. I know that it's not surprising to find a small amount of barrel char (which it also has) but I didn't expect this. Could it be part of the filter? Should it affect the flavor? Any help would be appreciated

It may be off the cork (waxy stuff ?) - I've had this a couple of times with Bourbon. Muslin does the trick.

Stagg is (thankfully) unfiltered, so it is not part of a filter.

I think you'll find that's its flocculation, nothing to worry about.

Vatting it with Neutrogena T-Gel will take care of the dandruff, and will make it taste like Ardbeg besides.
