It was in a small wine shop/deli in Totnes. The guy only carries about 10 malts but told me he tries to stockwhiskies that are not as mainstream as the local Threshers. Most of his other stock were standard OB speysiders but nothing out of the ordinary. I assume the GlenG I found has been on his shelf for some time as it doesnt look like the kind of place you'd find such a drink. I intend to go back and pick it up at the weekend.
For those who are keen I did a couple of searches on the web to get some idea of price. The best I found was £70 by an online shop called Bibacity which I had never heard of before. Could be the place to bag a bargain although most of their other prices were pretty standard.
