Hi and welcome weetoonscott is this bottling a original bottling from the Distillery or an independant bottling

It could be worth only 150.00 if only an indy bottle or could go up to 400.00 or more for a original bottling.

.... if you had this 1919 bottling however

A cool 14 grand if you had a bit of spare change

Are you talking about the "Local Barley" bottlings?

I seen a bottle of the 1966 Local Barley about a year ago for $350US. I guess I need to go for it. The Whisky Exchange has (5) 1965 bottlings for £510.64 each. Hope this helps a little.

350 USD would be a brilliant price as the current auction prices are around €500 to €570.

Hi again,
yes, that is the "Local Barley" as per my earlier post.
There are various versions which are different cask numbers and slightly different alcoholic strengths.

Various were openly sold during 2004-2005 and usually commanded prices around €420 to €500.
More recently in late 2005 and 2006 the prices have been €580 to €600.

I even saw one in a local shop here in Munich but they wanted over €700 for it!
I will let you know on here if I see one in the near future.
