Duty Free Shop, Costa Rica (San Jose)

Anyone have any experience with the duty free shop in Costa Rica? A friend is passing through and he'll pick me up anything specific.

Saw this old thread, and it might not be relevent any more for your freind. For the last couple of years, I have done some work in Costa Rica, and have been five times; I think. Regardless, the duty free has a few good deals, at least as of last May: $25 Caol Ila, $55 Highland Park 18. They also have had decent deals on Balvinie Double Wood (1989 and then 1991), but forget how much those were. They have a good selction of the Macallen Fine Oak series, prices only ok.
