St Magdalene 19y (1979) UDRM

Postby jobert82 » Wed Jul 26, 2006 7:10 am

Hi! I've one unopened bottle of this St Magdalene, and heard a lot of good stuff about it. I'm planning to open it (I'm more a drinker than a collector)... On the other hand.. it's becoming a rare bottle, isn't it?

I'm very interested in your opinions of this Lowlander!! SHould I open it?
Thanks in advance! Cheers!

It is getting a collector item, but also a superb malt, rich and full of character., which is quite surprising for a Lowlander.
You won't regret it if you will open it.

Cheers

Of course you should open it! Whisky was made to be enjoyed.

The St.Magdalene 19yo is a completely wonderful dram. Highest scoring whisky ever for me. It has got everything.

This is what I wrote about it in another post in this forum:
St.Magdalene 19yo RM, one of the best drams I've ever tasted, and it's as beautiful, complex, multilayered, spicy, sweetsmelling and sexy as my girlfriend, so it's the perfect choice for this evening...
