'Blacker still' refers not to the colour of the whisky but to the fact it was produced from an old black still. I think the Bruichladdich guys are pretty clever with what they are doing but I appreciate that some guys here perhaps think the wine etc ACE techniques are a bit suspect and covering up something.
I think they are very brave, having the balls to be innovative, yet releasing authentic, quality whiskies. As such, I applaud them for that in what is an increasingly competitive, global market.
