Highland Park 15 YO

Postby JONATHAN GAGG » Sun Dec 23, 2001 9:27 pm

Whilst in Sainsbury's the other day I noticed a bottle of Highland Park 15 YO. Is this an addition to the range or replacing the 12 YO? Any info?

Jonathan: Could you provide a few more details? Specifically, was that HP15 a distillery release or an indy bottling?

It appeared to be a distillery release in the same packaging as the new style 12 & 18 YOs as shown in the latest WM. This makes me think it could be an addition to the range.

Hi ,
I was told of this bottling a month or so ago,it appears to be a one off special between HP and sainsburys,a bit like the Highland Park/Oddbins two cask offer.
Cheers

Was bought a bottle for Xmas and just drinking the first dram as I type

Extremely palatable, I'm no Oz Clarke/Jilly Goulden so the best I can do is pleasantly smoky, dry, floral gums (for those of you old enough to remember them).....8/10.
