HIGHLAND PARK 1982 Royal Mile Whiskies

Postby Bullie » Tue Nov 07, 2006 10:08 am

Royal Mile Whiskies has a new release of their own bottlings out now. It's a bourbonbarrel Highland Park 23yo CS. What do I think about it? Well...:

Oww.. Well, at my defence, taste is subjective! ;)

Hi Bullie,
Congratulations. It is no surprise to see your tasting notes being appreciated other than this forum. I wish I could sample this bottling, but definitely trust your palate!

Cheers,
Wendy

Thank you Wendy! Just order a bottle for 'advanced sampling'! ;)

Did you ever get that bottle of Knockando, to see if you also could experience that mountainmedow? :D

Hi Bullie,
Thanks for asking, but the answer is NO. The Knockando sits on my long waiting list of whiskies to try with a star scribbled beside it. I don't worry about my waiting list because as soon as I check one whisky off, I add three more! It is all part of the enjoyment.

Take care,
Wendy

Bullie

As it happens, I tried it the other night - from some else's bottle! I convinced a friend it was worth buying so I had a wee nip when I met him the other night. It was very very nice. Just about everything from this distillery is, though.

My bottle is still waiting to be opened.
