How to store your Whisky

Dear Forum,
I am collecting bottles of all types of Single malts and would like to know if I should keep them vertically or horizontally given that they have corks...
I will appreciate very much your advise...

Hi Jaques, you should store your bottles standing up other wise the high alcohol contect will eventually destroy the cork. Remember scotch whisky is bottled in containers with closures that are designed to last a few years, not decades.
