15 year old Glendronach

Postby Victoria » Tue Nov 28, 2006 12:15 pm

Can anybody help? I'm looking for a 15 year old bottle of Glendronach for my Dad. Preferably from somewhere within the UK, but I am willing to buy from overseas and ship it in. I'd love to surprise him at Christmas with it. I know it's been discontinued but it's proving to be somewhat of a nightmare to find. PLEASE help me if you can xxx

Hi Victoria found this at Loch Fyne whiskies hope this helps. Les.

Glendronach OB Double Cask 12yo 40%alc. DEAL!

Deal price is £3.00 off

More ordinary replacement for the superb 15yo. I bet a malt manager at Allied is sorry they closed and reopened Glendronach without thought for the single malt potential.

Serves them right for being such numpties.

Currently out of stock

Price: £17.45 £20.50 Including VAT at 17.5%

Also the whisky exchange has a page full of different expressions for sale.

Not exactly what your looking for but Royal Mile has this 14yo Independant Bottling. Just something different and maybe more interesting for him.

Hmmm, not thát useful for someone abroad....on the website there is the quote:
"We are very sorry, but we had to stop shipments of goods to other countries than Germany."

I'll try and find you some other shop, but yet no luck.

Did not see that - the dual language design led me to believe otherwise :?

Victoria if you have no luck getting the Glendronach, I have one without a box. I do wish to keep it for myself, however it will be a lot easier for myself to source another at a later time.

I understand that shipping may be a little costly but if you need the Glendronach then please get in touch and we can discuss from there.
Cheers!

Hi Victoria,
I bought a miniature bottle (50ml) of the Glendronach 15 yo this past summer from The Whisky Exchange, London shop. You can contact them at http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/index.html to see what they have in stock.

I think it is a lovely gesture of yours to want to buy your dad something special for Christmas. Let us know how your shopping turns out.

Kind regards,
Wendy

I rang them last night. They didn't speak much english but I also emailed them so hopefully they will get someone who understands English to read it and help me out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed :?
