Can you help i've just bought this bottling a Bruichladdich 1986 limited edition of 150, which was bottled August 2001,the bottling accompanies Malcolm Greenwood's book regarding Unique distillersies of Scotland and Ireland. I've looked on the bruichladdich website for further information and there is a similar bottling also accompanying the book, but unlike the bottling i have, this was bottled in September of 2001 and is limited to 800.

Does anyone know whether this is the same bottling?

I've written to the distillery regarding a vintage and limited bottling I have, and they were quick to respond! Give that a try.

yep i'm new and so can't say much about where i got the bottling as i dont know the rules. but i got it from one of the main UK retailers, many outlets, there on line too, the bottling wasn't on their website, just saw it on a wekend away and had to have it, a bit of an impulsibe buyer.
