arent those the same dates as the feis ils 2007? and if so do you think it was done on purpose? if its a toss up - islay here i come

The spirit of speyside festival has always been held on either the last weekend in April, or the 1st weekend in May....whether it's the same as the islay festival, i don't know. But i know where i'll be.....

Folks,

Feis Ile 07 is from 26th May to 3rd June(Feis Ile website). SSWF is always at the start of the month and Islay at the end

doh... never read it right, i thought it said the speyside one was in june.... doh!

if thats the case of it being at the start of may and the islay one at the end, yeh ha! ill go to both

Unfortunately the dates coincide with my planned holiday to Albania.

I don't think they have whisky there but they do have unspoilt coastline, high mountains, pretty castles, an agreeable climate and thousands of pillboxes. According to the tour operator.
