I thought it was NAS so Bowmore could mix up anything they wanted to keep up with demand.

Does anyone prefer Legend to the 12yo?

Last I heard, Legend was a vatting of casks between 5 & 10 years old.

The other answer of "8" is perhaps therefore a convenient average?

I did hear a while ago that it was being discontinued.

To answer Mustardhead's question, yes, I do indeed prefer the Legend to the 12yo.

I didn't care for the Legend at all and the 12 is only slightly better IMO.
Bowmore is just one of those whiskies I like the older expressions of.

Cheers!

The supermarkets were selling it off for peanuts a few months ago and it's been replaced on the shelves by the 12.
I for one am glad to see the back of it. Even the 12 is better.
