well personally I liked it very much.
The batch i had was with any likelyhood a Caol Ila.
It was very rough in the good sense with a strong bread-cereal flavour together with smoke and tar-leather.

Anyway i Like young and brutal islay malts so maybe i'v a little bias on this matter...

Not sure I've tried that particular batch, but bought a bottle a few years back.

To be honest, I found it fun at first, but then pretty heavy going. Big peat, young wood and an almost vinegar like edge to it.

It's a heavy metal headbanger for sure, lacking the nuance of a Mozart concerto, but great fun in the right circumstance.
