ARDBEG ALMOST THERE HOW MANY?

speaking to a whisky drinking friend about ardbeg almost there he said that he'd read that only 1500 bottles had been released but could'nt remember where . Can anyone help with this?

dont know a number, but ive seen shops jammed packed with them, so id say 1`500 is a bit short of the mark

Probably 1500 cases more like..... but you never know. If it is 1500 bottles buy buy buy now quickly as it will quickly sell out.

On the french forum whisky-distilleries.info/Forum, someone mentioned 25.000 bottles worldwide. I think this is probably closer to the truth than 1500.

found it on The Drinks Business website 28/3/07 "1500 bottles 111 sold in first 2 hours" strange!!!!

Yes, lots of shops had them, even in their window displays, last week in Scotland. They're really pushing this one it seems. Makking sure that the new 10 not only retains its spot, but gains new fans as well I'm sure.

Did they do a Committee bottling? If so, that might be the 1500.
