Travelling to Las Vegas and Palm Springs, CA

I need a recommendation for a whisky bar in each locale -- In Las Vegas is there a hotel on the Strip that has a nice whisky bar? I noticed a forum member has one off the Strip.

Same question for Palm Springs (obviously "the Strip" portion does not apply

)

The bar at the Bellagio next to the poker room has a decent selection of single malts. However, as with most of Vegas, expect to pay exhorbitant prices for them.

Next time I'm in Vegas, I'm doing the hip flask thing.
