For those who've been lucky enough to pick a bottle of this up in a transit lounge shop, what's the general price range? I've got some family coming in from NZ and Vanuatu in a couple months and was thinking I might get them to keep an eye open for a bottle en route for me.

Thanks! I know that Nadura is for duty-free sales only but do you know how widely distributed throughout the duty-free network it is? (ie. Europe only, Eurasia, North America, etc) Most of my travel is domestic so I don't often get into the duty-free shops.

The full-strength Nadurra is readily available in shops in the US. The one up the street from me has it for around $58, as I recall, and I'm sure I can get it for $5 or so less elsewhere. Don't know about Washington State--I know their selection is thin.

I bought a bottle in PA at the LCB for about $55, if I remember correctly. Wonderful stuff.

Nadurra is widely available around the US. Hi-Time (Costa Mesa) has/had it on sale for around $42. Otherwise, it runs from $48 to $65 throughout Southern California.

$42! Buy three! At that price, it would be rude not to.

Interesting, I thought it was a duty-free only release..... perhaps I misinterpreted the term "travel retail" on the Glenlivet site :coffee: I'll have to have a look about for it next time I'm in the US.

Be aware - there are two Nadurras - one at cask strength and one at 48%. I have tried both and would recommend the cask strength over the 48%.

To get the 48% I had to get a mate of mine to get it for me at World of Whiskies Heatrow. How do you get your hands on a Cask Strength if you live in the UK?

Les,

The cask strength Nadurra isn't available on general release in the UK. there will be stock arrivivg at the distillery over the next few weeks. A quick call to them is the only suggestion I have, they are out of stock at the moment,

Three he says. Ok, so I was rude. Not only did I turned down the Nadurra but also Highland Park 12 at $25 :o and Highland Park 18 $50  . What could cause such an outrage you ask? The Highland Park 15 single cask was $75  . In addition, I happened to purchase the Scott's Glenfarclas 1965-05 as well  .

The 48% Nadurra can be found in the UK by getting someone to pick it up from "travel retail", the artist formerly known as duty free.

The Cask Strength version is available to Johnny Foreigner which is rather shocking ;)

I picked up a 48% Nadurra in the Duty Free in Frankfurt for 49.40 Euros (1 litre bottle) - FYI...

...and seeing as we're almost neighbours I feel obliged to also mention that the 2 guard cats are always on duty!!!

Dear Uncle Mr Tattiehead. Next time you come to the UK which if I remember you said was September/October could you bring me a Nadurra Cask Strength please. Pretty please with sugar on. Please.

Would that request be good enough?

Not bad, Les! A shame KLM doesn't fly into Luton.
