I presume the Lowland is Auchentoshan, Islay is Bowmore but who is the producer of the Speyside I've heard it's Glenfarclas?

I would imagine Glen Garioch, not a Speyside more of an East Highland, but Morrison-Bowmore who own the McLellands brand also own GG.

Didn't realise they also have a Highland, which will probably be Glen Garioch.

Thanks for the info but the Highland is definitely not Glen Garioch (at the moment), the speyside is the nicest then the lowland the young Islay is like drinking harpic, but then I've never drank a young Islay and liked it you might as well smoke a lump of peat then wash your mouth out with meths.

I agree that the Islay is probably Bowmore but it tastes a lot like Caol Ila to me, very oily and a strong peat flavor. Then again I have never had either of them younger than 12 yo.
