Highland Park 15

Among the Highland Parks at TWE there is a 15-year-old listed with no price. Is this a new bottling or just a rarity? Nothing is mentioned on HP's own website.

Hi r0b,
Its a distillery bottling that was done specially for the Sainsbury supermarket chain (in either late 2001 or early 2002).It was £29.99 a bottle and has vanished from my local store .

Howdy Spirit of Islay!

Thanks for the info. Did you ever get a chance to try it?

Hej

A friend of mine from UK was so kind to present me a bottle of HP15. Personally I prefer the HP12. HP15 is neither fish nor fowl. It's simply unbalanced. However, it's still a HP, so it's better than a lot of other whiskies.
