Like many others here, I was cleaning out junk at my grandparent's house, and sitting under a pile of junk on his dresser was an unopened bottle of Crown Royal whiskey dated 1957. The plastic seal around the lid was still intact (until I picked it up and broke it), the paper tax seals still in tact, and it was still wrapped in the purple velvet back with the string tied.
After reading these forums I'm sure it's still perfectly good to drink, is it worth trying to sell? Or should I just enjoy a really old bottle of whiskey? If the former, what do you think it's worth? If the later, am I in for a treat, or should I expect the same as anyother newly purchased bottle of Crown Royal?
Thanks!
