I have an unopened bottle of Macallan 18 year old from 1978 (bottled 1996).

Is it worth anything?

It is an excellent whisky and probably worth every penny...

Not too rare though and you could fetch around £75-90 (US$ 150-180) for it....Maybe in a few years time it might be a little more.

This is a very nice bottle of the Macallan 18 yo. The latter 70s bottlings seem to be going close to $200. Enjoy it!
