Glenfarclas family cask 1994

I can buy a 1994 Glenfarclas family cask.
This bottle in packed in a carton instead of an oak box.
The price is 50 euro. This is less than the version that has the oak box.
Can anybody give me more info on this?

Big mistake, just went to the store to check it out.
It's not a family cask but a 1994 Cask strength.
Is this an interesting whisky? Lots of sherry I reckon...

Came back home with a Glendullan 1996 - 9yo bourbon/madeira Murray McDavid.
