Last year, I picked up a bottle of Laphroaig 10 year. Love it. My bottle says 43% ABV. Many places I've found on the net say 40% ABV for the Laph 10 year. Are these places incorrect or has Laph watered down their standard 10 year? Their website doesn't mention the ABV on the standard 10 year.

Laphroaig 10 typically comes as 43% to the US market. However, if memory serves me, Laphroaig 10 is 40% in the UK market. You might check with some of the good people from the UK.
