So some of you have a bottle or two or three or a dozen in hand. How is it? Who's done some tasting? I doubt I'll be buying one of the NY 24 (I think that's what I read in another thread; don't want to double check). Too rich for me, for whom two bottles (the second after a taste of the first, and the first after the glowing review by Serge) of Lagavulin 21 was quite excessive. But I'd like to hear people's thoughts.

Also, who's had the CV? How does it compare to the 10 yo? (Hot tip:) Binny's has marked their Longrow 10 down to $60, which would be tempting if I didn't know the soon-to-be-released (but when?) CV should be priced around the same.

I don't expect to open mine for a wee while as it is in a queue.

I may try it at the Jolly Toper's tasting before I get to mine. Either way I will certainly report when I get round to trying it.
