Can anyone provide some notes on this bottling? (I know C57 is a huge fan of this one...)
Thanks in advance!

A touch of sherry too.
t: sweet honey with salt and a whiff of smoke
f: The theme carries right through - peat, honey, heather and salt. Long, long, long
These are old notes. I haven't had this for - well, too long. And the notes were made a long while before I finished the bottle. It had been open a year or two by then, so it may not reflect the newly opened bottle?

The 25s tend to be more "in your face" with what they present while the 30 is a more subtle "come sit down with me and have a chat" whisky. I think that my preference would vary based on what I'm doing and how I'm feeling at a particular moment.
I find the same general principles with the Macallan 25 and Macallan 30.
