why do you have to take that 'tone' with your posts

so far in this thread no one has said anything against you

- scum
- dishonest
- money grabbing
- untrustworthy etc etc etc

now if that was true, why would i sell a bottle of Bowmore this morning to a collector for exactly what i paid for it?? even offered him the receipt!!

its funny, because i bet none of those who issued the comments would dare say it to my face.

if they want to, i will pay for them to come from wherever in the world they are to do so, and will even give you a free Feis 2008 bottle!

ps - im not too lonely this evening, but you can ask your partner about that!

How do you managed to do that everytime? I'm not sure that you've totally missed it though.

Y2M, does that say something about whisky consumers or just that we have a much smaller group so "fights" are less likely to break out?

Just a quick comment if it wasn't for the speculators many on here wouldn't find out about certain bottles and get themselves one.

I haven't been keeping up to speed on the HP/Rosebank debates and i'm disgusted, for the moderators to have to lock a thread is appaling, surely there are rules on here against members insulting each other, and i would have thought the penalty would be having their account suspended.

Oldrip57 that is a good thing. Normal service seems to have returned. The detail of who said what, to who, and when is best left forgotten.

Usually locking a thread is something done before removing users from posting. If a thread looks like it will grow to be (even more) problematic, locking it is almost like a warning. (At least one user did get a written warning referring to a thread in "The Bar")

If its begins to be a common problem with member(s) posts leading to threads to be locked then they should be removed.
