Home made liquors

When fruits are in season we make blackberry brandy, damson gin and sloe vodka, and have come home this weekend to find home made elderflower cordial.

As yet we haven't made anything with whisky. Does anyone know what fruit, wild ones too could be used to make a whisky based liquor.

Berries with a sweet sherried dram, it will be sweet but then liquors are meant to be sweet!

Elderflowers with a light foral dram such as Glenmorangie 10!

Both will match and enhance the original character of the whisky rather than change the flavour profile.
