My name is David Mair and it's my honour to bring you news from The Balvenie Distillery. Read more.

As Balvenie enthusiasts, I thought you'd be keen to know that in September we'll launch a limited edition, The Balvenie RumCask 17 Year Old.

This unusual addition to The Balvenie range has been matured in traditional oak whisky casks before spending a second period of maturation in rum casks shipped all the way from Jamaica.

The result is a sweet, warm, spicy whisky that certainly evokes the warm climes of the tropics.

I've been hearing about an upcoming 17 release - right on schedule!

But... why the heck didn't I get the email! I'm a member! WTF!!!! :x

Has anyone tasted this yet? I noticed they're selling it at RMW for 60 quid, a fiver below RRP. I sense one heading my way. Do you think this is a good investment (just kidding 8))!
