At a recent meeting of enthusiasts, we noticed that the packaging - both the label and the box - of the official Classic Malts bottling of Talisker has changed in recent times.
The number "10" and the words "10 Years Old" used to be quite prominent, but have now been replaced with a faint watermark for the "10", and the expression "Aged 10 Years".
Whilst the change in emphasis is slight, there was plenty of discussion as to whether the whisky being served up in the bottle has changed. This was fuelled by my recollection of a rumour a year or two ago that Talisker was no longer going to be a 10 year old malt.
Does anyone have any helpful information?
