1960 Crown Royal

I found two bottles of Crown Royal in my parents basement after my mother passed away. The date on the labels is 1960,the seals have not been broken and they are still in their velvet pouch and original box. The color is a darker amber compared to todays bottles of Crown Royal...My question; are they safe to drink and if so, what would the value be if I were to sell them. Thanks for your help ....Joseph
