Aberlour A'bunadh Batch #18 or Batch #21?

I recently bought a bottle of Aberlour A'bunadh batch #18. I would like to buy another bottle. I can either get #18 again or try Batch #21. I've been only able to find 18 and 21 locally here in Dallas/Fort Worth. Should I buy 18 again, or try 21. Have any of you all tried both. How would you rate them, especially one against the other?

Buy em both, if you can, and do multiple head to heads. This might give you a better idea of which is better than you can ever ask for.

If you can only buy one, I have preferred the 21. I liked the 18, but I only had a sample whereas I went through a bottle of 21.

only one person can decide which one you like better...

and if you would happen to be in Speyside early may next year for the SPirit of Speyside festival you'll get the chance to try all the batches and find out for yourself

I had both. I believe if my memory serves me right, I prefer the #21 to the #18. The #18 having a very slight sulphury aftertaste. I have an opened A'bunadth batch #14 and this is the best batch so far. But hard to find.

Yes, i too remember the 14 , with dewy eyes...my first Abunadh after being served 13 by my neighbour...and the best!

I've only tried the 21, but what I can say is that I haven't emptied any other bottle as fast as I've gone through this one.
